Impressive food and presentation in a pleasantly renovated antique farmhouse. Outstanding first courses: scallops seared and blackened and served with jicama seasoned with apple wine vinegar and spices, accented by a bright orange mango puree; baby spinach leaves, raddicchio, and fresh goat cheese dressed with peach vinaigrette. Other winners: bouillabaisse and pan-seared duck breast on a bed of root vegetable hash served with a blue-cheese-filled baked apple.
